About Us
We advocate for people with disabilities, to educate the public about their needs and to get them the support they require.
The initiative emerged from the founder’s realization that social justice is number one in the eyes of the public, government and media, and that the needs of those with a disability are at least number 25 in terms of perceived importance. He has 2 physical disabilities and saw an opportunity to make change in communities across Canada through Social Franchises giving back.
We have a leadership team and three Advisory Boards made up of different groups in the disability community: people with a disability, their supporters, and businesses.
We encourage groups to set up Social Franchise chapters in their communities. We provide an Operations Manual and and 3 hours of coaching to help you get started and grow.
